When you're performing spoken word, you'll encounter all sorts of situations.

Performing outdoors in the rain, without a stage, or with no audience. I've performed a lot of works in various places, from dirt floors where you think it can't get any worse, to stages with dull production and colorful lighting.

If it was raining, we would get wet, mixing food and rainwater, and if the wind was blowing hard, we would fry food in the direction of the wind. Despite the spills and spills, I've never been afraid of any environment or situation.

They were all precious opportunities for me. Performing brushwork in such a situation was both humiliating and dramatic.

In an event, there are those who organize and open it and those who participate and perform. Usually, the organizer is the 'Gak' and the participant is the 'Eul'. It is a contractual relationship and money is exchanged, so it is a designation that appears in written expressions and is usually accepted naturally. In the case of public organizations, contracts are often made on a mutually equal footing rather than a pecking order.

Anyway, there are many types of contracts, and I want to share my experience as a low-status artist who always works as a contractor.

There are two main types of bosses.

The smart ones and the dumb ones.

The smart ones provide a waiting area, bring drinks and snacks, and make sure you don't have to worry about parking. They measure the size of the stage, the distance to set up the structure, the lighting and acoustics, the distance to the audience, and even the smallest details of rehearsal.

There is a dedicated person in charge. They are strict and sometimes annoying to the point where you think, "Do I really need to take care of this?" But their attitude allows us to finish the show without any variables. They care about the work. The before and after management is perfect. I feel comfortable dealing with such bossiness. I want to meet him again.

The worst thing for her is when she meets a stupid one. Sometimes he doubts whether they have the ability to act on his behalf. They don't say anything, but you can tell just by looking at the flow of people, equipment, and signs. First of all, the most ridiculous situation is that there is no stage. There is no waiting area. No lights, no sound, no accompaniment. I don't know why they booked me. It's an event that makes so little sense that you wonder how it could be organized this way.

Perhaps they have their reasons. Time, money, location, relationship, etc.

It's a rush job, and everything is haphazard and full of gaps. At this point, there is a certain suspicion about the person who was invited by this person.

There is no respect in their attitude or words. First of all, they are busy fussing around and the site is cluttered. I don't even want to, but the basics are halfway there, but there are some crazy people who judge you based on your appearance and harass you or make dirty jokes. It's very rare, and believe it or not, there are still people like that.

Caring is intelligence. When intelligence is low, performance and communication levels are low.

It's worse when they don't know what they're doing, and they don't even realize it. The good thing about working with jerks is that you learn to be patient and gain a lot of experience.

The disrespect, the lack of a stage, the lack of sound equipment, the lack of a waiting room, and the lack of parking make you sensitive and nervous, but what can you say? You become seasoned and stronger to adapt to the environment.

Like a weed that grows rarely in a harsh environment, you become stronger by overcoming the situation. You become meticulous in your preparation and have a certain ability to do it even in such a situation.

The venue. To be more precise, the company that organizes the event has to satisfy the client.

The purpose of hiring a person is to create an event to satisfy the customer, but isn't it a basic attitude for the success of the job to give the person who will satisfy the customer at least the right treatment? Is that too much of an ego-oriented idea? I don't know if the person who pays the money thinks that they should be grateful just for being hired.

What are the circumstances of clients who entrust such people with their representation? Can they be trusted?

Relationships go around and around.

Those who are really good at their jobs are good to their clients because they know it's for their own good.
